Edward D. Greim
Mr. Greim joins Graves Bartle Marcus & Garrett, LLC from the New York office of Bryan Cave LLP, where he practiced in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Securities Enforcement, Compliance & Litigation. His experience spans a variety of litigation matters, including defense of class action and product liability lawsuits; representation in arbitration of a broker-dealer against customer claims of fraud, unsuitability and failure to supervise; and representation of hedge funds in investor litigation. In addition, Mr. Greim has handled prosecution and defense of commercial contract-related claims in court and arbitration and the assertion on behalf of corporate clients of claims for business torts and misappropriation of trade secrets. He has represented the executor of a several hundred-million-dollar estate in accounting and related proceedings; employers in defense of claims of race, age and sex discrimination; and not-for-profit clients before state regulatory authorities.
Mr. Greim graduated from Harvard Law School in 2002, where he taught on the Board of Student Advisers and served as President of the Harvard Catholic Law Students’ Association. At the University of Missouri-Columbia, Mr. Greim earned degrees summa cum laude in economics and political science, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, received the Sigma Chi International Balfour Award, and served as a lobbyist for the Associated Students of the University of Missouri.
