Connie S. Haden joins Graves Bartle & Marcus LLC with a background in Estate Planning and Probate Administration.
Haden grew up on a farm near King City, Missouri and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001 with degrees in Agriculture Business Management and Business Economics. During her time at Mizzou, she was a Sam Walton Business Scholar and was active with the Mortarboard Honor Society, the Homecoming Steering Committee, the Baptist Student Union and the Ag Week Steering Committee. She also spent time studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, and on a mission trip to Kazakhstan.
She received her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2004, where she was Editor-in-Chief of the UMKC Law Review, a member of the Christian Legal Society, the Federalist Society, the Student Bar Association and the Order of the Bench and Robe.
Ms. Haden then worked for the law firm of Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin LLP, where she specialized in Estate Planning, including advising clients regarding wealth management objectives and implementing estate planning tools such as revocable trusts, wills, durable powers of attorney, health care directives, irrevocable trusts and family limited partnerships. She also handled the various aspects of Probate Administration.
She is a member of the Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar, the Eastern Kansas Estate Planning Council and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
Ms. Haden lives in Kansas City, Missouri with her husband, Brent, and their son, Wyatt.
